As we continually seek opportunities to broaden the horizons of our students, it is with great enthusiasm that I extend an invitation to our students to attend the CIAA (Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) High School Day in Baltimore on February 28, 2024.

The CIAA Basketball Tournament holds a rich history as one of the premier events in college basketball, showcasing the talent and cultural diversity of historically black colleges and universities (majority HBCUs). This event provides a unique platform for our students to witness top-tier athletic competition while immersing themselves in an atmosphere that celebrates education, diversity, and community.

The purpose of our participation in the CIAA High School Day is to expose our students to different cultures, perspectives, and educational opportunities that they may not encounter on a daily basis. By attending this event, students have the chance to explore colleges that may not be on their radar and gain insights into various academic and career paths.

To facilitate your child’s attendance, obtain a permission from the College and Career Center. We kindly ask that you review and complete the form, granting permission for your child to participate in this enriching experience.
